Genova offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit different tastes and budgets. As a major tourist destination and with June being a high season, demand for hotel rooms is usually high. We strongly recommend booking your accommodation well in advance. 

We have arranged special rates with a selection of hotels. For participants who prefer to book independently, we also provide a list of recommended areas to stay in the city. List of reccomanded areas for accomodation:

We list here some reccomanded areas to book your own hotel if you prefer (from closest to farthest from the conference venue - red pin). 

Molo-Portoria-Ravecca (blu area): These are central districts located between Porto Antico and the city center. Staying here puts you closer to the conference venue (approx. 15 minutes walk) and within walking distance of traditional local restaurants, museums, and landmarks. This area is ideal for convenience and atmosphere.

Carignano-Quadrilatero (orange area): A quiet and elegant residential neighborhood, Carignano is centrally located and within moderate walking distance (approx. 25 minutes) from the conference venue, and within short walking distance (approx. 10 minutes) from the historical city center. It is perfect for visitors looking for a peaceful area with beautiful architecture.

Portello-Castelletto (orange area): This area sits just above the historic city center. It offers a mix of hotels and apartments and quick access to the main cultural attractions of Genoa. It’s well connected by public transport to the waterfront.

Foce (red area): Located near the eastern waterfront, Foce offers a relaxed seaside atmosphere with plenty of local restaurants, shops, and easy public transport connections. It is a bit farther from the venue but ideal for those who enjoy being in a quieter environment.
