Practical information > Socials and excursionsExtra Activities – IMRF 2026 Genoa
Networking workshops
We are considering organizing two extra networking workshops following the last afternoon session on June 25th (approximately one hour each). If you are interested, please let us know during registration to help us assess feasibility and plan the event. 1) “Improv-based tips for researchers” Discover how key principles of improv theatre, such as adaptability, active listening, and creative collaboration, can support researchers in navigating uncertainty, strengthening teamwork, and enhancing academic communication and presentation skills. 2) “Painting sensory modalities” Explore fundamental principles of color techniques and examine how different sensory experiences, such as sound, touch, or emotion, can be translated into artistic expression through color. Participants will be guided to experiment with color as a tool for perception, interpretation, and creative communication.
Calcio Balilla Tournament We are considering organizing an additional social activity: a calcio balilla (table soccer/foosball) tournament. Participation would require a small extra fee (approximately €5–10), to be paid onsite on the evening of the event (not during registration). If you are interested, please let us know during registration to help us assess feasibility and plan the event.
